ChargeSense automatically adjusts your electric vehicle's charging based on your solar generation. You retain full control and can override or disable the service at any time from the dashboard, your vehicle, or the Tesla app.
ChargeSense is currently in private beta, offered free of charge and by invitation. It is a work in progress: features may change, and interruptions are more likely than they would be in a mature service. If we introduce fees, we will tell you by email at least 30 days beforehand, and no charge will ever be made without you actively choosing a paid plan. You can stop using the service at any time.
You confirm that you are authorised to connect the Sigenergy system and vehicle you register; that your electrical installation is compliant and safe; and that the credentials you provide are yours to use.
Charging depends on the weather, your energy use, your vehicle's availability, and third-party services outside our control. We do not guarantee any particular level of charge, any savings, or continuous availability. Make sure your vehicle is sufficiently charged for your needs — especially before long trips — using Force Charge, a schedule, or your vehicle's own controls.
The service depends on interfaces provided by Sigenergy and Tesla, which may change or become unavailable without notice. We will adapt as quickly as we can, but interruptions outside our control may occur. ChargeSense is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc. or Sigenergy. Their trademarks belong to them.
The service is currently offered in New Zealand and Australia only.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and because the service is provided free of charge during beta, our liability to you is limited to the greater of NZ$1 or one month's service fees, in aggregate. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including missed journeys or higher electricity costs. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where they apply to you, or the Australian Consumer Law where it applies.
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end the service with 30 days' notice, or immediately if required by a third-party provider or by law. On termination we remove our virtual key association, stop all data collection from your vehicle, and delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms with 30 days' notice by email. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
